Too bad "Spider-Man 4" with Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst returning is now not going to happen. This idea was actually cool- although I do think the Hobgoblin could have been left out as there already have been two encounters with goblins as well as three villains being too much for one movie. But I liked the idea of Dr. Curt Connors becoming the Lizard as well as Kletus Cassidy turning into Carnage. That is exactly what should have been done for the fourth movie instead of using the Vulture.

No they aren't making spiderman 4. They are rebooting the series. the next spiderman movie will be loosely based on Ultimate Spiderman and take place during Peter's high school years.
